GHL Breaking New Ground in Talent Development....Mira el futuro!
GHL’s commitment to the growth and development of
its employees is evidenced through the Growth
initiatives that our Talent Development Team has
embarked on.
Employee Succession Planning
Our succession planning programme is aimed at
“growing our own timbre” and as a result has been
identified as one of our major initiatives. This
programme is specifically designed to develop high
performing employees for upward mobility within the
GHL Group.
Employee Career Path Development
The Talent Development team recognizes the need
for employee career development and supports this
intent by creating an organizational culture that
promotes a passion for continuous improvement and a
commitment to life long learning. In keeping with
this philosophy career paths for each department
throughout the organization will be outlined to
ensure that each employee will be able to map out
their own career opportunities within the GHL Group.
Employee Educational Assistance
Continuous learning is one of the key driving
forces within GHL’s culture. To achieve this the
Company has implemented its Educational Assistance
Programme which allows employees the benefit of
furthering their education through monetary
incentive while they build the skills and
competencies required for growth within the
organization.
Employee Bilingual Training
The Talent Development Team is committed to
developing a bilingual workforce by the year 2010 as
a key to bridging the communication gap in today’s
globally competitive environment. In light of this,
in October 2005, the GHL Group launched one of the
first strategic Business Spanish competency
development programmes in Trinidad and Tobago.
