GHL Group Supports CARIFTA Games

The Guardian Holdings Group, including Guardian Life of the Caribbean and Guardian General Limited, is again a proud sponsor of CARIFTA Games being held in Guadeloupe this Easter week-end.

GHL’s partnership with CARIFTA Games for the last four years has ensured that this major junior track and field event takes place. These games are internationally recognised as the spawning ground for some of the Caribbean’s most famous athletes, in particular Marc Burns, Darrel Brown and Fana Ashby.

In addition to the US$40,000 given to the CARIFTA organizers, Guardian Life also presented the Barbados Carifta team with gear. A strong Trinidad & Tobago contingent will represent the country in Guadeloupe.
